Sharman
Ghio
Sharman is the founder of Happy Feet.
Combining over 12 years of teaching dance and eight
years of corporate marketing experience, Sharman created
Happy Feet to fill a niche in the dance industry as
well as provide an excellent service to young performers.
In her professional dance career, Sharman worked for
the NFL, NBA, and Greg Thompson Productions. She received
her training from Cornish College for the Arts, Pacific
Northwest Ballet, and Dance Lab. As a marketing director
she worked with such companies as Microsoft, Intel,
and Shell Oil Company. Sharman is currently an instructor
as well as the director of Happy Feet.

Cathleen Egasani
Cathleen trained in the Vaganova method
of ballet in San Diego at the Pieknik's School of Classical
Ballet. She has been dancing for 17 years and has been
teaching for seven years. Cathleen graduated from the
University of California at Santa Barbara with a degree
in Dance and she is currently dancing for Mandala DanceWorks,
a modern dance company in Orange County directed and
choreographed by Karin Jensen. She has studied with
various artists such as Nancy Colohan, Christopher Pilafian,
Jerry Pearson, Valerie Huston and many others. Using
a strong ballet background she believes that ballet
is the foundation of all dance due to the discipline,
strength and technique of this traditional form of art.
Cathleen has been with Happy Feet since November 2003.

Dana Jolyn Jensen
Dana is in her final year CSULB, and will graduate as a dance major with a certification
in recreation. She has received many dance scholarships from Dance Masters of California
College scholarship to the Lana Alder Scholarship for the Arts 2005. Dana’s academic
achievements include Dean’s List CSULB and President’s Academic Honors Spring 2005.
She also was the recipient of the Miss California’s Scholarship Competition pageant
2000, where she was crowned Miss Santa Clara. When not in the LA area you can find
Dana’s outstanding energy and excitement as a Dance Instructor; Jensen Performing
Arts Milpitas CA, along with teaching dance to children though the Santa Clara CA
Parks and Recreation Department. Dana is a Master Teacher in Tap, Jazz, Ballet,
Lyrical and Children’s Dance. Welcome Dana to Happy Feet Summer 2005
